Manager / Director of Program Management

Description:

  • Oversees project managers working on client engagements within practice.
  • Provide project leadership to team to formulate and execute on best practices.  Drive and own improvements and execution on methodology to maximize customer success. Continually defines ways to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships.
  • Ensure project quality across entire project portfolio.
  • Manage, optimize and report on project portfolio, particularly with regards to customer satisfaction, timelines, project budget/financials and consultant utilization/resource optimization
  • Assist with sales process, pipeline forecast, account management and billing.
  • Work closely with our partners including technology and delivery partners.  Assist with finding, evaluating and managing partners / contractors
  • Interview, evaluate, onboard and professionally develop new team members
  • Ensures team meets or exceeds budgeted financial objectives, including revenue and margin.
  • Lead some projects (player-coach) and work effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions and strategies.

  • Must have knowledge of Salesforce.com products.  Certification a significant plus.

  • Manage full-lifecycle of project from discovery, implementation, testing to rollout
  • Perform standard project management tasks such as creation and management of workplans, project plans, budget, issue identification and resolution
  • Be able to manage multiple projects concurrently
  • Take leadership of team and serve as the main point of contact for customers and team-members
  • Work with customers and consultants to identify business requirements
  • Assistance with sales cycle, particularly project estimation

Requirements

  • Accurately forecast and deliver on sales goals
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with salesforce.com’s and other partner’s Account Executives and sales teams
  • Identify business requirements and craft a consulting solution to meet business needs
  • Manage all phases of the business development cycles to successfully close (including proposal development, implementation estimation, scope construction, and client presentations)
  • Maintain and nurture client relationships to ensure additional business

Requirements:

  • BA/BS or equivalent; MBA is a plus
  • 10 years experience in software, SaaS or Services sales organizations
  • Hands on experience with Salesforce.com. Salesforce.com certification not required but a significant plus.
  • Proven track record of successful solutions-oriented services sales
